It’s the pipeline that crosses Wesley rd in Creve Coeur down close to the lock and dam. I think it is for unloading barges but I could be wrong.

I was told natural gas – whether that is accurate or not, I don’t know.

That pipeline was built to transport petroleum products from barges to the Amoco and Mobile Oil tank farms built in that area in 1947-1948.
