206 – Peoria Politicians
No snarky comments allowed. Well… maybe just this one time.
Strolling down Adams St during the annual Santa Claus Parade are, from left to right, retiring Congressman Ray LaHood, 5th District Councilman Patrick Nichting, At Large Councilman Eric Turner (slightly hidden,) Mayor Jim Ardis, former Congressman Bob Michel, and rookie Councilman Ryan Spain.

My snarky comment:
I saw the car coming with the “Grand Marshall Jim Maloof” sign on the front and I said to my wife, “I hope he’s not driving”.
Did anyone else see the former mayor in the parade? Had a very “Weekend at Bernies” look to it.

Eric Turner’s in there too.

Is LaHood pushing that one kid in the blue parka in the face?

Ok…I’ve been “gone” a long time, could somebody explain this to me?
1. Is this the santa parade and that is the crowd?
2. Where is this Cat store, the old Bergner’s?
I need a scorecard.

Oops. I amend my original post. Right to the right of “Dickhead” you can see Eric Turner. I thought it was the porter carrying “Dickhead’s” bags. My bad.

Ryan Spain has a “This can’t be good” look to him.
JW, yes this is the Santa Parade. The Cat store is in the Chase (Bank One) building. The Cat store is across the street from the parking deck North of Sullys.
