195 – St. Paul Lutheran Church
Maybe this will help; and it was exactly where Josh told me!
1427 W. Lake (off University). From St. Paul’s web-site: “In 1966 the current church and parsonage were dedicated. The beautiful 11.1 acres of land became the new location for church picnics and outdoor events. The bells donated in 1901, and the pipe organ, donated in 1917, were modernized for the new church and still serve today to glorify God with their music.”
Because no-one seemed to know what or where this really was, including me, there will be no gifting. Still, the original picture is pretty darn cool, isn’t it?

I have a guess, but if I’m wrong, I give away a shot I have that I was going to send into NTPL. I think it is the same. Different angle. All I’ll say is that my guess is that it is south of Peoria.

Isn’t that on Caterpillar Trail/Main St in EP right after you could turn on Centennial to go to ICC?

Sorry I haven’t had the time to update… the three photos in question were all taken from the same spot in central Peoria near the Metro Center, facing different directions.

Well, I went to the spot where I thought I was told this was and unless I had a brain warp or something, it had no steeple.
Oh Josh, where are you??

now that all 3 have been identified, where were the pics taken from? That has intrigued me since you posted them.

Let’s just say I had a unique location in the center of Peoria pretty high up.
