187 – Bradley Park Horseshoe Shack

I didn’t know we had a top rated NCAA horseshoe team, but then I didn’t know we even had a horseshoe team and I’ve never seen anyone use this area.
Looks like a good place for a dog park to me.

The horseshoe shack in upper Bradley Park? They might have moved it to lower Bradley Park. I’m certain it was never in central Bradley Park, as no such place ever existed. Having said all that, it’s probably in some other park.

These courts are being used every Thursday at 7:00 pm by the Peoria Horseshoe Club. Anyone is welcome to pitch at this club. Since I have joined in 2007, I have met some really nice people. I recommend this sport to anyone who likes a challenge.
