100 - Barn on University St
A. It is located at 4530 N. University.
B. It survives in the middle of town.
C. It shares a parking lot with a building that historically no business can survive in. The latest casualty: Underwood’s Furniture Gallery. Previous casualties are Eric’s Great Steaks and Maverick Steak House.
HatTip to Chef Kevin for the suggestion, and thanks to “Katney” for having the first comment and correct answer on post #100.

Eric’s Great Steaks? Don’t remember that one. I thought it was a Ryan’s buffet, or some kind of buffet place. Is that what Eric’s was? Upscale Ponderosa?

Underwood’s location used to be a Maverick Steak House for a couple of years. I agree its the shed by Culver’s/GFS.

Eh, you all beat me to it. I too will guess the barn behind Culvers and the old Eric’s Great Steaks.

I think Underwoods moved, not necessarily went out of business.
As for the barn, I believe that the owners were offered the opportunity to have the barn restored but turned it down. Kind of a shame.
I’ve also have had elderly gentlemen tell me stories of said barn and how they used to work in it and the fields around it in their youth.

I had the opportunity to witness a situation that may indicate that this barn might be the possible target of demolition.

The barn is now gone. Not sure when they tore it down but as I drove by today it was gone.
