National Distillers.

David P Jordan: “That’s the smoke stack for the old National Distillers Product Company in the Darst and Krause St. area. I remember that most of those buildings were torn down by the owner, N. E. Finch Companies, in 1997. the distillery made Kentucky bourbon until 1952 and continued to warehouse and ship product until 1956. i think other firms operated in there in later years, though.”

Is it perhaps the concrete plant at the intersection of Rte 74 and Rt6 at the Western edge of Peoria?

  2. Kevin Says:

I think it is the bong from which District 150 baord members have been smoking.
